In the area around Puntagorda there are many hiking trails where you can explore the region on foot

You can walk stages on the GR131 circular island trail or, if you prefer a more leisurely pace, simply take long walks along the many footpaths and farm tracks.

The wild beaches in the north are only suitable for swimming in summer, in winter the currents are too dangerous. But it is always worthwhile to walk down to the coast, for example to the former harbour, Puerto de Puntagorda. In the summer months, Puntagorda's public swimming pool is open.

Puerto de Tazacorte, an original village with fish restaurants and a long sandy beach, is about 30 minutes away by car.

Two simple cubes form the two wings of the 72 sqm building, between them is the entrance area.

The modern, straight-lined style of the architect's villa is softened by a partition wall on the terrace, in which an antique teak door is integrated.

The living room of the holiday villa is furnished with a leather couch as well as a very comfortable recliner. A large window front with sliding glass door leads onto the terrace. The windows are tinted so that the room does not heat up too much even in strong sunlight. On the end wall is a handmade sideboard made of solid wood, followed by a writing table with a shapely chair. The warm tone of the cherry wood brings a warm accent to the otherwise rather cool tones of the room.

On the opposite side is a dining table with seating for three. The kitchen is shielded from the room by a rounded aluminium wall. It is also made of cherry wood and very well equipped. Oven and dishwasher are of course present, as well as a fully automatic coffee machine. A basic supply of spices, as well as vinegar and oil are available.

In the second wing there is a utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and cleaning utensils. Next to it is the bathroom, which is equipped with a floor-level shower, WC and washbasin. 

The bedroom faces the terrace.

Two beautiful wooden wardrobes, modelled on Chinese wedding wardrobes, are available for your holiday wardrobe. The house has underfloor heating, and there is wall heating in the bathroom.

Villa Horizonte offers a large terrace facing the sea with various seating areas and sun loungers. Native plants were selected for the planting of the 5000 sqm plot, so that the house fits very harmoniously into the surroundings.

In front of the entrance there is another terrace, which is ideal for breakfast. It is very sheltered by the slope behind it.

Parking is possible on the property next to the house.
