The location of Casa Mirador Azul on the northern outskirts of San Nicolas de Las Manchas offers an authentic and rural environment that invites you to explore. The village of San Nicolas is located directly on the historic lava flow of the San Juan volcano, which made headlines in 1949, but also close to the lava flow of the new Tajogaite volcano. The area surrounding the house provides a fascinating insight into the volcanic history of the island.
The nearest beach in Charco Verde is around 15 minutes away by car, and shopping in Los Llanos or Fuencaliente is around 20 minutes away. There is a nice bar in the village where you can also eat tapas. Just 2 kilometres away is a rustic restaurant built into the rock, Bodega Tamanca, which serves Palmerian cuisine and its own wine.
The house is located in a residential area north of the town centre
Inside, Mirador Azul radiates cosiness. Stylish wooden furniture and warm natural tones create a cosy atmosphere, while colourful accents add a lively touch.
The living room is furnished with 2 comfortable leather sofas and a wood-burning stove. It has direct access to the conservatory. There is a dining table for up to 6 people along one wall. Sat TV and WLAN are of course available.
The fully equipped kitchen offers all the amenities you could wish for.
3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located at the rear of the house
The master bedroom with double bed impresses with plenty of space, a large walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. The room is fully air-conditioned (heating and cooling). A small storage room with shoe racks is adjacent.
Another bedroom is furnished with two single beds.
The third bedroom has a French double bed and full air conditioning for comfortable nights in colder as well as in very warm times.
These two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin.
The centrepiece is the conservatory
The conservatory, which is attached to the side of the house, offers the ideal connection between inside and outside with its large sliding glass doors. You are sure to spend most of your time there. A cosy rattan couch and 2 armchairs with lots of colourful cushions, additional chairs and a dining table in a space separated by glass make this room the focal point of the house. Roller blinds provide shade on very sunny days, while the sliding glass doors, some of which are fitted with fly screens to keep out pests, provide ventilation.
The spacious outdoor area attracts guests with a heated pool and a barbecue
The outdoor area of Casa Mirador Azul is a real highlight. The approximately 1000 square metre plot is surrounded by a wall and offers plenty of privacy. A heated pool with cover invites you to swim, while a sunbathing area with sun loungers and parasol is perfect for relaxing under the warm sun. Near the entrance there is a small platform with lounge furniture and a sun awning.
A separate barbecue house with outdoor kitchen allows you to spend most of your time outdoors. There is another seating area in front of the barbecue house.
Your hire car, which is essential for this house, can be parked inside the wall on the property or in the carport.
