The very well and tasteful appointed holiday villa offers a quiet and private standalone location on a terraced property of approx. 5.000 m².
The fantastic 180 degree panorama view of the Atlantic Ocean is one of a kind and boosts with unforgettable sunsets. The Cumbre Mountains in the background offer a picturesque scenery and stretch until the southern tip.
A heated pool and a Jacuzzi provide both fun and relaxation!
Immerse yourself into a wonderful Tropical Oasis
Seasonal fruits like mangos, bananas, mandarins, pomegranates, strawberry guavas and avocados are ecologically grown on the property and guests are welcome to enjoy them at any time.
Exotic and flowering shrubs as well as climbing plants enclose the house. With its location 260 meters above sea level the villa offers pleasant temperatures year-round.

Los Picachos is situated in a quiet, isolated location directly on the cliff above Puerto Naos (approx. 260 metres above sea level).
From here you can easily reach all regions of the island by rental car. The way to the house leads through a nature reserve, where there are only a few isolated houses and now and then a banana plantation. The small road leading to the house is narrow, but tarred except for a few metres and easy to drive on. Due to the location away from the villages, a rental car is indispensable.
It takes about 12 minutes to drive to the large beach of Puerto Naos.

The sophisticated holiday villa Los Picachos was completely re-built in 2014 and comprises three components:
Casa Los Picachos (approx. 90 m²) is the center of the house and consists of a spacious living area as well as one bedroom and one bathroom. To the right and left side each there is an apartment attached (approx. 50m² each). One of them is exclusively reserved for the owners and remains closed.
Whatever you choose to rent, the entire Casa Los Picachos or only the apartment, you always enjoy full privacy, the units are not rented out separately.
The spacious outdoor area with several terraces is at the entire disposal of the guests, also in case they rented only the apartment.
Apartment Los Picachos (50m²)
The fully equipped apartment features a living room with a large panorama window, a cosy couch seating, an American Kitchen with a dining area as well as a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
The new parquet flooring in the living areas as well as in the rooms with high ceilings and the traditional wooden pointed roofs of La Palma create a cosy and spacious atmosphere.
From the living area you enter a large terrace facing west. There is also a nice view of the sea and the garden from the interior space.
The kitchenette is fully equipped making cooking a delight even while you are on holidays.
Of course there is an oven and a dishwasher as well as appliances, crockery and other high-quality kitchen equipment.
The bedroom has one double bed with new, back-friendly mattresses. The modern bathroom has a shower, a wash basin as well as a toilet.
Casa Los Picachos (90m²)
The central part of the house is directly connected to the living area of the apartment. First you enter a spacious lounge flooded with light with a high wooden and pointed roof typical on the Canary Islands.
On the opposite side you find a cozy living environment and seating area. A large flat-screen (satellite) TV could be your choice whenever you don’t feel like enjoying the starry night of La Palma.
From the living area you enter a bedroom with two single beds and a walk-in closet as well as another bathroom.
You can either enter the west terrace from the lounge or the rear side oft the house, where the main entrance and a small outdoor kitchen as well as the washing machine are located.
The central part remains closed when you decide to rent only the apartment for two.
When you like to rent the entire house for two or three persons, please specify 4 adults on the booking form.
The Outdoor Area boosts with a Jacuzzi, Pool and Terraces
The extensive outdoor area offers sunny and shady places, depending on the time of the day.
The property with a total of approx. 5,000 m² has several terraced, landscaped areas with tropical plants. Guests most frequently use the green terraces above and below the house.
Depending on the season you can pick and enjoy tropical fruits like mango, banana, passion fruit (maracuya) or avocado.
There is a roofed terrace of 150 m² attached to the house. Here you also find a Jacuzzi and enjoy a fantastic view of the Cumbre Mountains and the ocean.
A staircase leads down to the lowest garden terrace, where you also find a small heated pool with an outdoor shower.
It is the perfect place to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the west coast and the Atlantic Ocean. Right next to the pool there is an area with deck chairs, the remaining garden level is planted with fruit trees.
At the main entrance to Casa Los Picachos, on the rear side of the house, there is a small outdoor kitchen with a sink as well as a barbecue.
PLEASE NOTE: A cat lives on the property and is fed there. Of course it are not allowed to enter the house.
The property is enclosed by a fence. Apart from the guests only the gardener has access, who comes Tuesdays and/or Fridays for watering and garden care. A private parking space is situated directly in front of the house.
There are exposed sections with danger of falling on the property.
That’s why we don’t think it is suitable for small children. We recommend a minimum age of eight years.
