Las Laderitas B
Here you can enjoy an enchanting La Palma holiday!
The small holiday home Las Laderitas B for two persons stands radiant yellow on a small promontory of land going down into the valley, in rural El Paso.
With the beautiful panoramic view over mountain and valley, relaxation sets in immediately.
The exposed single terrace location is protected from view by an elevation, overgrowth and especially by a beautiful pepper tree. The tall Washingtonia palm also provides some shade and a holiday feeling. It is joined by a relatively young dragon tree, strelitzias, rumex lunaria and daisies. Splashes of red are the Christ thorn on the dining table, which is directly accessible from the barbecue area and the kitchen respectively, and the two rustic barrels planted with azaleas – testimony to the wine culture of this rural area.
The terrace itself is surrounded by vines and the view sweeps over the pine-clad mountains, the cultivated landscape on the fertile slopes and the Aridane valley.
Below you, in the distance, you can see the town of Los Llanos with its characteristic main road dividing it lengthwise. At night you can see its soft lights, they do not interfere with the view of the immense starry night sky, thanks to the law on light pollution the lighting is reduced and subdued.
At the top of the terrace, slightly elevated, is an old circular threshing floor with a stone table and six seats. The view here is fantastic. Two sun loungers invite you to read, contemplate or take a vitamin D bath. The rustling of the leaves of the pepper tree as well as its play of shadows are exceptionally good for relieving a tense mood.
You enter the accommodation through the floor-to-ceiling glazed door, which offers beautiful views to the terrace and leads into the bright living room with Canarian wooden ceiling.
This houses the kitchen, dining area and sitting area with TV. The kitchenette with gas cooker, oven and washing machine is very well equipped, apart from a dishwasher. The refrigerator is discreetly recessed in a wall niche to save space. The wooden dining table with four chairs provides a third dining area for your use, in addition to the two options outside. A rattan/wood sofa with cushions as well as a wide armchair with coffee table, TV including furniture and a stereo system offer you a cosy stay in the accommodation. Wifi internet is available in the holiday home.
A small step leads to the bedroom and bathroom.
A French bed with an antique, refurbished iron frame, typical for La Palma and a popular collector's item, completes the rustic chic of the furnishings. Please note that the bed is only 1.90 m long and also ends with the frame at the foot end. In addition, there is a bedside table, a floor lamp, a coat rack, a not too big wardrobe and a shelf with some drawers to store your travel wardrobe and a shoe bench where you can comfortably sit and slip into your hiking boots or flip-flops – depending on your plans. A desk in front of the window also serves as a shelf or work surface. There is no chair here due to lack of space. If required, please help yourself at the dining table.
The small bathroom with mirror, washbasin, shelf underneath, toilet and tiled shower cubicle has a window that is not visible from the neighbour, but offers the same beautiful view of the landscape panorama as the terrace. Guests have an iron with board and a hairdryer at their disposal.
The hosts live next door, so you can contact them directly if you have any problems. On the ground floor of their house is the accommodation Las Laderitas A suitable for two people, which you can rent together with Laderitas B if you want to spend your holiday here with friends.
Las Laderitas B is a non-smoking house, please do so only on the terrace. The minimum age for guests is 18 years, as the grounds are not completely secured and a certain amount of peace and quiet in the area is important.
