"Las Laderitas B" is a small, well-equipped, detached one-bedroom holiday home for two people in a very beautiful, central location in rural El Paso.
The view over the mountains, the valley and the town of Los Llanos to the Atlantic Ocean in the distant horizon is beautiful. The cosy accommodation blends harmoniously into the lush landscape.
An outdoor barbecue kitchen and several seating areas in the terraced small garden invite you to a relaxing holiday. You can start hiking directly from here!
The minimum age for guests is 18 years, as the grounds are not completely secured and a certain amount of peace and quiet in the surroundings is important.
"Las Laderitas A" – for two additional guests, the holiday flat with balcony in the landlady's house can be rented.

Las Laderitas A – for two more guests, the ground-level flat with balcony in the landlady's house can be rented.
The small holiday home Las Laderitas B for two persons stands radiant yellow on a small promontory of land going down into the valley, in rural El Paso.
With the beautiful panoramic view over mountain and valley, relaxation sets in immediately.
The exposed single terrace location is protected from view by an elevation, overgrowth and especially by a beautiful pepper tree. The tall Washingtonia palm also provides some shade and a holiday feeling. It is joined by a relatively young dragon tree, strelitzias, rumex lunaria and daisies. Splashes of red are the Christ thorn on the dining table, which is directly accessible from the barbecue area and the kitchen respectively, and the two rustic barrels planted with azaleas – testimony to the wine culture of this rural area.
The terrace itself is surrounded by vines and the view sweeps over the pine-clad mountains, the cultivated landscape on the fertile slopes and the Aridane valley.
Below you, in the distance, you can see the town of Los Llanos with its characteristic main road dividing it lengthwise. At night you can see its soft lights, they do not interfere with the view of the immense starry night sky, thanks to the law on light pollution the lighting is reduced and subdued.
At the top of the terrace, slightly elevated, is an old circular threshing floor with a stone table and six seats. The view here is fantastic. Two sun loungers invite you to read, contemplate or take a vitamin D bath. The rustling of the leaves of the pepper tree as well as its play of shadows are exceptionally good for relieving a tense mood.
You enter the accommodation through the floor-to-ceiling glazed door, which offers beautiful views to the terrace and leads into the bright living room with Canarian wooden ceiling.
This houses the kitchen, dining area and sitting area with TV. The kitchenette with gas cooker, oven and washing machine is very well equipped, apart from a dishwasher. The refrigerator is discreetly recessed in a wall niche to save space. The wooden dining table with four chairs provides a third dining area for your use, in addition to the two options outside. A rattan/wood sofa with cushions as well as a wide armchair with coffee table, TV including furniture and a stereo system offer you a cosy stay in the accommodation. Wifi internet is available in the holiday home.
A small step leads to the bedroom and bathroom.
A French bed with an antique, refurbished iron frame, typical for La Palma and a popular collector's item, completes the rustic chic of the furnishings. Please note that the bed is only 1.90 m long and also ends with the frame at the foot end. In addition, there is a bedside table, a floor lamp, a coat rack, a not too big wardrobe and a shelf with some drawers to store your travel wardrobe and a shoe bench where you can comfortably sit and slip into your hiking boots or flip-flops – depending on your plans. A desk in front of the window also serves as a shelf or work surface. There is no chair here due to lack of space. If required, please help yourself at the dining table.
The small bathroom with mirror, washbasin, shelf underneath, toilet and tiled shower cubicle has a window that is not visible from the neighbour, but offers the same beautiful view of the landscape panorama as the terrace. Guests have an iron with board and a hairdryer at their disposal.
The hosts live next door, so you can contact them directly if you have any problems. On the ground floor of their house is the accommodation Las Laderitas A suitable for two people, which you can rent together with Laderitas B if you want to spend your holiday here with friends.
Las Laderitas B is a non-smoking house, please do so only on the terrace. The minimum age for guests is 18 years, as the grounds are not completely secured and a certain amount of peace and quiet in the area is important.
The tastefully furnished holiday home is located above the village of El Paso in the village of La Rosa.
Here you will not notice anything of the town centre, but enjoy your relaxation in a rustic ambience. However, if you wish, you can reach the pretty municipal capital very quickly – even on foot – which lies further down and offers many shopping facilities, restaurants, a tourist information office, bars and event venues. On Fridays and Saturdays, the market hall "Mercadillo de El Paso" opens, where you can buy fruit and vegetables from the municipality, cheese, wine, pastries and other island specialities.
A visit to the Silk Museum near the town hall is worthwhile, as is a visit to the Benehauno Museum, which deals with the stone drawings of the indigenous people of El Paso. Both provide important insights into the history of the island's largest municipality in terms of area: it includes the Bejenado Massif, Cumbre Nueva and large parts of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, as well as Cumbre Vieja. The volcano, which erupted in September 2021, can be seen from the terrace and from the side living room window.
Up the road is the Cumbrecita and the chapel of the Virgen del Pino, the Virgin of the Pine and the great mythical Canary Island pine tree that stands there. There, in the area of Las Cuevas, you will find beautiful walks, some of them flat, which also lead to the visitor centre with information about the National Park. Ideal if you prefer regular, leisurely walks instead of strenuous hikes. By the way, pets are also allowed in the Las Laderitas B holiday home by arrangement.
Otherwise, the central location of the accommodation on La Palma is extremely favourable, because you can reach the many places worth seeing, beaches and hiking trails relatively quickly by rental car. And a bus stop is only about a 7-minute walk from the holiday home.
