Numerous hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity and are easily accessible by car and partly on foot, as is the centre of El Paso. The beach of Puerto de Tazacorte is about 20 minutes away by car.

The holiday home in the village idyll is ideal for hikers

La Era is a beautiful accommodation on the outskirts of El Paso.

Here you have a great view over the valley and to the impressive mountain ridge of the Caldera de Taburiente. The National Park Visitor Centre is within walking distance to the east, and to the south you will come to the centre of the village, where you will find various restaurants, bars and shops.

The two-storey holiday home has been lovingly furnished and decorated by the owner and is ideal for a holiday with the family or for two friendly couples. There is one bathroom and one bedroom per floor.

Directly in front of the house as well as to the side of the house, there are furnished terrace areas at your disposal.

Here you can also enjoy the view of the picturesque landscape. On sun loungers you can enjoy the Canarian weather, under the outdoor shower you can refresh yourself. In front of the house is a cultivation area, where potatoes and other vegetables are planted. A medlar and a plum tree blossom at different times and bear fruit.

The highlight is the conservatory with a beautiful wooden roof on the upper floor – the view over the Aridane valley and to the mountains is particularly enchanting here.

Through the large window front you have a view in three directions. You can see the edge of the caldera, El Paso and down to the sea. Here you can sit together comfortably in the evening - in winter it warms up pleasantly during the day.

Right at the entrance of the house is the small living area, below the stairs leading to the upper floor. The kitchen belonging to it is very well equipped. A dining table for four people can be found directly by the window.

The bedroom with two single beds and a view of the mountains on the lower floor has a large dressing room.

Here you can comfortably store your wardrobe, suitcases, hiking boots, etc. The bathroom with bathtub, bidet and mirror front is quite spacious.

The second bedroom is on the upper floor and offers a double bed and a small flat screen TV. The adjoining bathroom with shower/WC matches the colour of the sunny yellow bedroom, from which you can access the conservatory already mentioned.

From the house you can start many hikes of different levels of difficulty.

The house is set back from the road. You park on the road and walk about 60 - 80 m to the house. The area of La Rosa is typically village-like. You can reach the centre of El Paso in 10 minutes on foot. There you will find a large supermarket, as well as several good restaurants. On weekends, fresh produce from the island is sold in the market hall.

The two beaches Charco Verde and Puerto de Tazacorte are about 20 minutes away by car. You are also very quickly at the tunnel that connects the east and west sides of the beautiful Canary Island.
