The Casita del Aljibe is located in front of the water cistern of the finca, from which it takes its name
The Aljibe was built from teak, the resinous and extremely resistant heartwood of Canary Island pines.
The water cistern is more than 150 years old and looks a little damaged, but it still works perfectly and is in use.
Rainwater is collected here to irrigate the gardens and the orchard. However, we recommend not to enter it.
From the terrace surrounding the Aljibe, you can enjoy the fantastic view of the sea and the peaceful surroundings - the sunrise is particularly beautiful.
Casita del Aljibe was the home of the original owners.
The living/dining area still has the original wooden gable roof made of teak and a wall niche that serves as a bookshelf.
The stylish bedroom with two single beds has sitting areas by the window, as do the other houses on the finca. The furniture is in keeping with the rustic character of the house, but modern comforts such as SAT TV with flat screen and internet are also available.
