El Topo

El Topo is a pretty house in a secluded location just above Puntagorda, close to hiking trails and the pine forest around Fayal

There is always a nice market here at the weekend where you can buy local produce.

The separate plot is closed with a large iron gate. You can park your car directly on the property in front of the house.

The outside area of the house leaves nothing to be desired.

There is a small garden and the area in front of the house has been laid out with pebbles. A terrace leads around the house. Due to the hillside location, one has a unique view of Puntagorda and the sea, with the beautiful mountain range in the back.

The covered barbecue area offers a large table with chairs for a cosy get-together. The washing machine is also located here.

The outdoor area is completed by a mobile outdoor shower, four sun loungers, and another table with four chairs. A large parasol provides shade when needed.

The large living/dining area in the house has been lovingly furnished in a modern style.

Each room has been given a different colour and the decoration coordinated with it. Directly by the fireplace are a small sofa, an order table and an armchair.

The large dining table with six chairs completes the cosy kitchen-cum-living-room, where one likes to spend time even when it is fresher outside. A large glass cabinet offers additional storage space for dishes and glasses.

The kitchenette is kept in plain white and is well equipped.

The other rooms lead off from the dining area. Another small living room can also be used as a second bedroom for accompanying children. The chaise longue can be converted into a sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00m).

There is also a large wardrobe here. The sloping roof creates a homely flair.

The master bedroom has a large double bed and the only TV in the house (satellite TV, flat screen). 

The small bathroom has a shower/WC.
