The semi-detached house Dos Caracoles A, which is rented out as a holiday home, is located on the right-hand side when viewed from the pool. It faces east behind the house, not west towards the sea. For your orientation, you will find a floor plan of Dos Caracoles in the gallery.
Dos Caracoles B has not been rented out since 2025 but is mainly occupied by the owners themselves.
Curved walls and natural stone cladding blend with modern architecture to create a very special feeling of space. Spaciousness, brightness, accentuated walls in warm orange-red, terracotta tiles and high Canarian wooden ceilings ensure a relaxed cosiness in the accommodation, which is framed by subtropical plants.
The Dos Caracoles holiday home can accommodate a total of 6 people.
The living space is approximately 150 square metres.
The holiday home offers a spacious, bright living room
There is an open, very well-equipped kitchen with a work island, a sofa corner with satellite TV, and a dining area with a round table.
To the left and right of this, the patio doors can be slid open, expanding the living space and blending the interior and exterior. There are terraces on both sides, each with dining tables for six people.
The three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are located in the natural stone-clad part of the building.
This means they are well insulated and do not get too hot in summer. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms also contribute to ventilation. Each bedroom has a niche with an open wardrobe with a clothes rail and storage space. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers.
PLEASE NOTE: For one to four guests, only two bedrooms are open. If you are a group of three or four and would like to use all bedrooms, please specify 5 guests when booking.
The outdoor area
The two Dos Caracoles houses share a 5 x 12 m swimming pool, which is heated by solar energy. The water is treated without chlorine using salt water electrolysis. The large pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. Above it is an avocado farm. The garden of the complex, with palm trees and subtropical flowers, is attractively designed and well established.
The accommodation is centrally located and conveniently situated in the Aridane Valley, off the main road, on a private road above La Laguna.
Here you can enjoy country life. A bus stop is a good 10 minutes' walk away, but we still recommend that you hire a car.
From the holiday home, you can reach the towns of Los Llanos de Aridane, El Paso, Villa de Tazacorte and the seaside resorts of Puerto Naos and Puerto de Tazacorte within 15 minutes. Via Tazacorte, you can quickly reach the unspoilt north-west of the Canary Island of La Palma, and above El Paso is the tunnel to the east side.
Dos Caracoles enjoys a favourable climate at only 420 metres above sea level on the sunny west side of Isla Bonita.
Here you have a great view of the mountain panorama – the ridge of the Caldera de Taburiente and the Cumbre Vieja volcanic chain. You have a limited sea view from the garden in front of the house towards the west. You cannot see the sea directly from the living room, as the terraced property is well overgrown.
