Just a stone's throw from the sea
Casita Pedro El Remo is just a few steps away from Playa El Remo beach. The sheltered seawater pool, La Charca, is perfect for a swim. There isn’t a traditional sandy beach here, but rather a small cove with pebbles, black sand and a partly rocky shore. Another spot for swimming is located at the entrance to the village. This stretch of coast is popular with locals for swimming, snorkelling and surfing.
Those expecting wide sandy beaches, entertainment and shops right on the doorstep are better off in Puerto Naos or Puerto de Tazacorte.
Just a few steps from the house, you reach the pier with its idyllic seating areas under palm-leaf umbrellas, which invite you to spend relaxing hours with a magnificent sea view.
There are no shopping facilities in El Remo itself. For errands, you can take the bus or a hire car to Puerto Naos (5.5 km) or Los Llanos (approx. 14 km) in just a few minutes. It is around 50 km from the airport and takes about an hour by hire car.
There is a bus stop directly opposite the house, so guests can arrive without a hire car and focus their stay entirely on sun, sea and tranquillity.
Food and atmosphere
El Remo isn’t really a place for nightlife, but it is a little paradise for fish lovers. Right on the doorstep of the house are three open-air fish restaurants, known as kioskos: 7 Islas, El Reme and La Charca. As well as fresh fish and seafood, they serve typical Canarian dishes such as papas arrugadas or fried goat’s cheese. There is also the Bar/Cafetería Aterure, which also offers light meals.
Casita Pedro can accommodate up to 5 people
Casita Pedro looks rather simple from the outside, but inside it surprises with its spacious rooms and good facilities.
The open-plan living and dining area forms the heart of the house. It features a comfortable sofa, a dining table for six people and air conditioning for hot days. Adjacent to this, raised by a single step, is the kitchen with a dining or work table for four people. It is well-equipped with a large fridge-freezer, a hob with oven and a washing machine.
The bedrooms are located on the left-hand side of the house: a master bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning, another bedroom with two single beds, and a small single bedroom. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin.
The house also features a covered, furnished terrace with a table and chairs.
Overall, Casita Pedro combines traditional Canarian charm with modern comfort and a relaxed, maritime atmosphere.
