One advantage of the house is its central location within walking distance of the centre of Tijarafe
Casa Lujan offers a generous 205 square metres of living space for up to six people and a baby.
You are not always dependent on the car and can easily go shopping and eating out on foot and get to know the country and the people and the Canarian way of life very closely.
Sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. There is a sports field with tennis and paddle tennis courts in the immediate vicinity, the house itself has two paddle tennis rackets and the courts can be reserved at the town hall. The house's own small gym and a table tennis table are located in the lower part of the house.
Notice: Road works started in the municipality of Tijarafe at the beginning of February 2023. The works on the LP1 extend over 7.6 km. Curves will be straightened, narrow passages widened and three bridges are planned. The duration of the work is currently planned for four years, and there may be disruptions due to the construction work during this time and beyond. Unfortunately, we cannot predict when work will be carried out in which sections.
Enjoy the view over the village to the Atlantic Ocean
The two-storey Casa Lujan houses the living area, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor.
In the lower area of the house there is a utility room as well as a large common room with table tennis table, small gym with treadmill and cross trainer as well as a bar with attached small kitchen and refrigerator to enjoy the evening together.
In the lower, front area of the house, a small garden with lawn has been laid out. The guests of the house can decide whether they want to enjoy the sea view from here or from the beautiful roof terrace. A private driveway is located at the rear of the house.
A staircase leads from the outside to the covered balcony that surrounds the house.
From here you have beautiful views of the centre of Tijarafe, the beautiful church and the town hall.
The road below the house connects Tijarafe with Puntagorda and the rest of the north of the island. Thanks to the well-insulated windows, you cannot hear the street inside the house.
In front of the entrance to the house there is a small seating area with a table and two chairs.
One enters the premises through the separate kitchen of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and has plenty of storage space. The dining table can be extended to seat up to six people.
To the left is the living area, which has been kept in modern and light colours. A large seating area consisting of two sofas and an armchair invite you to a cosy get-together or a TV evening in front of the large flat-screen TV.
Both the living room and all bedrooms have a split unit (air conditioning and heating).
Adjacent to the living room is one of the bedrooms with two single beds standing together and a large wardrobe with sliding door.
The separate bathroom with shower and toilet is located between this bedroom and the bedroom with a French double bed, which is located to the rear of the house. Particularly noteworthy are the colourful design of the room and the wooden bedside tables in an original design.
A small hallway leads to the master bedroom with a large double bed and a small flat-screen TV.
The absolute highlight is the adjoining en-suite bathroom.
The large bathtub with whirlpool function invites you to take an extensive bubble bath and enjoy the view of the mountains through the panoramic windows.
Additional bathing pleasure is provided by the spacious shower with separate hand shower. A double washbasin and a separate WC complete the room. The bathroom leads directly to the rear part of the house.
A ramp leads directly to the spacious roof terrace. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view over Tijarafe and the Atlantic Ocean thanks to the glazed front. Enjoy the endless view into the distance on the sun loungers!
Near the house is the local football pitch of the village, here they train about twice a week in the late afternoon. Directly behind there is a tennis court and a paddle tennis court.
Guests of Casa Lujan can also use these courts, times must be registered with the town hall.
Casa Lujan is located in the centre of El Pueblo de Tijarafe in the northwest of La Palma
The central location makes it easy to walk to shopping and dining.
However, we recommend a rental car to discover all the beauties of the island.
The local football pitch is right next door, and there are also tennis and paddle tennis courts that can be hired for playing.
A little beyond Tijarafe there is a spectacularly located lookout, La Muralla.
The nearest large bathing beach is in Puerto de Tazacorte and can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
A natural beach below Tijarafe can also be reached on foot for the more athletic, but there are a few metres of altitude to climb. The wild beaches and bays in the northwest are not suitable for swimming in winter because of strong currents.
