Experience relaxing days at Casa Helios and discover the beauty of La Palma

Relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the coast. The surrounding area is ideal for relaxing walks and hikes, especially along the picturesque Pista del Canal, the canal path that runs just below the house. The northwest is one of the most beautiful hiking areas on the island and captivates with its diverse landscape: extensive pine forests, almond and orange groves, walking trails through agricultural plains and deep gorges with native flora that stretches to the coast, always accompanied by a view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Casa Helios is only a 5-minute drive from Puntagorda. There you will find everything you need for your daily shopping in small supermarkets. There is also a bakery and an organic food shop. Several restaurants cater to different tastes - from Canarian to Italian.

At the weekends, you can buy fresh local produce and handicrafts at the popular Mercadillo.

Casa Helios is very comfortably equipped for 4 people.

The living room and bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning to ensure pleasant room temperatures at all times, which is also aided by the traditional thick stone walls of the house. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. They are located on either side of the house, with the living room in between. This ensures plenty of privacy, even for couples who are friends.

The master bedroom offers a cosy double bed and a small sitting area, while the second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a desk. Both bedrooms are equipped with full air conditioning (heating/cooling) and TV sets (SMART TV).

The spacious living room is very bright thanks to large sliding glass doors leading to the terrace.

It has a well-equipped kitchenette with a large induction cooker, oven, large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. In front of it is a dining table for 4 people.

Attached to this is a cosy sitting area with two comfortable sofas. Satellite TV and WiFi are of course available. 

The living area has a storage room with a toilet and washbasin and space for suitcases or other items.

In front of the living room is a terrace with a large dining table for 6 people and a view of the sea.

Enjoy the sea view – even from the pool and jacuzzi

Behind the house, slightly elevated, you will find a swimming pool and a small sitting pool – both with stunning sea views. At night, both are romantically lit. Sun loungers are provided next to them.

On the south side of the house, you will find a jacuzzi where you can enjoy a warm bath with massage after long hikes. On the north side, a small area with an electric barbecue, bistro table and chairs invites you to linger.

The house is powered by a large photovoltaic system. For those rare days when the renewable energy generated is not sufficient, there is a backup.

The appliances are energy-efficient and the lights are mainly LED. There are also facilities for waste separation.

A washing machine and iron are available.

Parking is available directly at the house, but please drive carefully on the last few metres of the access road, as it is unpaved and somewhat bumpy.
