Canarian country house with Moorish flair
The house was built in traditional Canarian style with open wooden roofs, typical Canarian windows and doors as well as floorboards.
The high-quality furnishings are complemented by harmonious decoration and lights in Moorish-Spanish Mudéjar style. The dining table and chairs as well as the kitchen furniture are made of solid wood by a local carpenter. A full air conditioning system (heating and cooling) in the lounge and master bedroom ensures a pleasant temperature at all times. A wood-burning stove with a viewing window can also provide romantic coziness on chilly winter evenings.
The salon - the central room of the house
The salon is located in the right wing. The spacious room opens onto both the star terrace and the sun and lounge terrace.
A cozy seating area is located opposite the wood-burning stove and the large flatscreen TV. If you spend rest days or evenings here, there is a wide range of entertainment electronics: Android TV with internet and Astra satellite as well as a Philips Ambilight system. For music lovers, there is a Yamaha Clavinova concert grand piano.
In the rear area with direct access to the separate kitchen is the large dining table with 4 chairs.
The room is tastefully decorated with lamps from Granada and fresh flowers from the region.
The well-equipped kitchen awaits hobby cooks
The kitchen impresses with handmade Moroccan Zellige tiles, a real wood worktop and custom-made wooden cabinets. It is equipped with modern appliances such as a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. Solar power provides hot water and some local delicacies are available for guests.
Bathroom and guest WC
The main bathroom is tiled with Moroccan zellige in geometric patterns and has a spacious, barrier-free walk-in shower. High-quality ceramics from Villeroy & Boch and hot water from the solar thermal system offer comfort at the highest level. A second bathroom with washbasin and WC completes the offer. In the adjoining guest bathroom, the washing machine and tumble dryer are located next to the washbasin and WC.
The bedrooms are located in the left wing
The master bedroom is furnished with a large double bed (180 x 200 cm), which was made from solid wood by a local carpenter. A wardrobe, Android TV, stereo system and direct access to the terrace round off the ambience. The second bedroom has two king-size single beds (105 x 200 cm each), a wardrobe and a desk.
The unique, artistically designed garden is a dream from 1001 nights
The garden, which has been lovingly laid out over ten years, offers subtropical plants and playful elements on various levels. The terraces invite you to linger outdoors.
The terrace with the star-shaped pergola directly in front of the house offers spectacular views and is atmospherically illuminated at night.
Other artistically designed terraces with various seating and lounging areas invite you to sunbathe, relax and enjoy nature. The terraces are connected by artistically designed paths, Arabic staircases and ramps that are illuminated at night.
The impressive water features are reminiscent of the Alhambra in Granada. The 12-metre-long Arabian fountain and the watercourse with arches and gargoyles create a calming atmosphere.
The highlight - the infinity seating pool
Pure relaxation is offered by the round infinity seating pool (5 m², diameter 2.55 m) - handmade from Moroccan Zellige tiles and surrounded by Moroccan bejmat. Thanks to a large surface area for solar heating of the water and the shallow depth of 1m, the water temperatures are very pleasant practically all year round.
The view from the pool of the Atlantic Ocean and nature is unique.
